| The burnoose is a crimson wool/cotton blend, made in Morocco. The frog closure in front pulled loose, so I have to replace the fastening, and the tassel on the end of the hood was missing when we bought it. As a replacement closure, I plan to order style PTH-Square from The Knitting Mills, shown below. (I have a feeling I'll have to order at least two pairs to even out the stress on the "collar"; three pairs would look more balanced.) I haven't decided whether or not to replace the tassel. While it would help with the drape of the hood, I don't know if it will look right.
